Retail & Leisure

Springfields' new shopping development opened in May 2004 (situated on the edge of the town centre). It consists of 42 retail outlets built adjoining the refurbished Festival Gardens. The gardens, which were designed by celebrity gardeners such as Charlie Dimmock, Chris Beardshaw and Kim Wilde are on a 30 acre site.

This development attracted two million visitors within its first year and is visited by people from across East Anglia, East Midlands and South Yorkshire.
