Spalding is a bustling Georgian Market Town boasting over 270 shops and businesses!
The vibrant Town Centre is a friendly and stylish place to shop; both shops and markets are conveniently located and are all within easy walking distance of the car parks.
The town centre hosts an ideal mix of familiar high street names, along with a large selection of independent outlets. These can be found in the central Market Place and also on Winsover Road, New Road, the Sheep Market and the Crescent.
For those with mobility difficulties the town centre is level and easily accessible. There are a number of mobility scooters or wheelchairs available for free loan for up to 3 hours. These can be found at Spalding Mobility, 15 Winsover Road. Please book in advance (or call for further details) on 01775 722786 - Note: 2 forms of identification are required.
Spalding boasts nearly 2,000 car parking spaces spread around the town, so parking should not be a problem. Motor cycle riders are also catered for in the Sheep Market car park, where a number of motor cycle bays have been set aside. Lockers for the storage of helmets and gloves for 2 hours are also available - see the local toilet attendants for this facility - a charge of 60p is made.
